Blue Artificial Grass: A Fresh Finish for Pools and Themed Spaces

Blue artificial grass is built for spaces where colour creates atmosphere. Unlike our natural green ranges, it’s designed for creative and commercial use, so it particularly suits water-themed and coastal-inspired projects.

Why Blue Grass Suits Pool and Water Areas

Because blue grass is made from premium UV-stable fibres, the colour holds through direct sun rather than fading over a season. It’s tested to European Health Authority Standards and manufactured lead- and zinc-free, so it’s safe for family and commercial use. Its fast-draining backing also makes it comfortable and non-slip underfoot around pools and hot tubs, where it creates a resort-style finish that stays cooler than traditional paving.

Where Blue Grass Works Best

Thanks to its distinctive colour, blue grass particularly suits:

• Pool surrounds and hot tub areas – soft, non-slip, and quick-draining underfoot
• Coastal and water-themed gardens – suits sensory gardens and children’s ocean-themed play areas
• Sports facilities – marks training zones or team areas, especially for water sports clubs
• Commercial branding – suits businesses with blue brand identities
• Events and exhibitions – photographs well for launches and promotional spaces

Installation and Care

Blue grass installs on soil, gravel, decking, concrete, or paving. Roll it out, trim to fit, and secure with landscape pins or adhesive. For permanent installations, ground preparation with a weed membrane and MOT Type 1 base is recommended. Because upkeep is minimal, a stiff broom every few weeks and a hose-down keeps it looking its best.
