Double Plastic Swing Seat – Glider for Two Children | Garden Playframes Ireland

Two children, one swing — the double plastic glider seat gives siblings and friends a shared swinging experience on any garden playframe. Built from durable plastic, with adjustable ropes and easy assembly.

A Swing Seat That Brings Kids Together

The double plastic swing seat gives two children a side-by-side swinging experience right in your own garden. Because it sits both children facing each other on a glider-style seat, it encourages cooperative play from the very first swing. As a result, it suits siblings, friends, and playmates who want to share the fun rather than take turns waiting.

We stock this seat at our Letterkenny showroom and deliver it across Ireland and Northern Ireland. It fits standard garden playframes, so you can add it to an existing setup or include it as part of a new play area build.

Built to Handle Irish Outdoor Conditions

We make this seat from durable plastic that resists the changing weather conditions you get in Ireland throughout the year. Rain, wind, and cold temperatures do not affect the material, so it holds up season after season without cracking or fading. Because the plastic construction needs no sanding, painting, or treating, it stays looking well with minimal effort.

The adjustable rope length means you can set the seat height to suit the age and size of the children using it. As children grow taller, you simply adjust the ropes rather than replacing the seat. This gives you real long-term value from a single purchase.

How to Fit the Double Swing Seat

Fitting this seat to your playframe is straightforward. Because it connects via standard swing hooks or ropes, it suits most timber and steel playframe crossbars. First, check your beam height and set the rope length to suit your children before hanging. Then attach the seat firmly to your swing hooks and test for stability before the children use it.

If you need advice on compatible hooks or fixings, our team in Letterkenny can help. We also stock galvanised swing hooks and square metal swing hooks to complete your setup.

Who Is This Seat Best For?

The double glider seat suits children who enjoy active outdoor play together. It works well for families with two young children who want to swing at the same time. In addition, it suits schools, nurseries, and community gardens where shared play equipment gets heavy use. Because the plastic construction handles frequent use without deteriorating, it performs just as well in commercial settings as it does in home gardens.
