Garden Fire Pit with Cooking Grill

This 54cm fire pit brings warmth and cooking capability to your outdoor space. The steel construction handles regular use whilst the lattice cut-out design creates attractive light patterns as flames dance inside. Perfect for Irish gardens, patios, and outdoor entertaining areas across Donegal and beyond.

Practical Safety Features

The mesh spark guard sits securely over the fire pit, containing sparks and embers whilst allowing heat to radiate outward. This protection matters particularly on windy Irish evenings when embers might otherwise drift toward seating areas or garden features.

The included safety poker lets you adjust logs without reaching into the fire. Move burning wood, add fresh logs, or rearrange the fire bed safely from a comfortable distance. The log grate raises wood off the pit bottom, improving airflow for better burning.

Built for Irish Weather

The steel construction receives a heatproof paint coating that protects against high temperatures and weather exposure. Irish rain, morning dew, and damp conditions won’t compromise the fire pit’s structure or appearance when properly maintained.

The 54cm diameter provides adequate burning space without overwhelming smaller gardens or patios. Position it on non-flammable surfaces like paving, concrete, or compacted gravel – never directly on wooden decking, composite decking, or artificial grass.

Cooking Capability

The included grill transforms your fire pit into an outdoor cooking station. Once the wood burns down to hot coals, place the grill over the pit and cook sausages, burgers, vegetables, or anything you’d prepare on a traditional barbecue. The height provides proper clearance from coals whilst maintaining good cooking temperatures.

Remove the grill when you want fire pit warmth without cooking. The versatile design adapts to different outdoor gathering needs – pure warmth on cool evenings or cooking capability for garden parties and family barbecues.

Simple Assembly Required

The fire pit requires basic assembly before first use. Clear instructions guide you through the straightforward process. You’ll need basic tools and approximately 30 minutes. Once assembled, the fire pit stays together permanently – no repeated assembly required.

Placement and Use Considerations

Choose a level, stable location away from overhanging branches, garden structures, and property boundaries. Allow at least 3 metres clearance from buildings, fences, and flammable materials. Position the fire pit where smoke won’t drift directly into seating areas or toward neighbours’ properties.

Use only seasoned, dry wood – never treated timber, painted wood, or construction waste. Wet wood creates excessive smoke and burns inefficiently. Seasoned wood lights easily and produces better heat with less smoke output.

Extending Fire Pit Lifespan

Clean ash from the fire pit after each use once completely cool. Empty ash prevents moisture retention that accelerates rust formation. Store the fire pit under cover during extended periods of non-use, particularly through winter months. A waterproof cover or storage in a shed protects the finish and extends usable life.
