Aileach Artificial Grass: A Natural-Looking Lawn All Year Round

If you’re searching for artificial grass in Ireland that actually looks real, Aileach is built for exactly that. This 30mm pile combines three to four tones of green with red fleck detail, so instead of a flat, uniform colour, you get depth and variation — the same way a healthy natural lawn does. Consequently, it holds up under close inspection, not just from a distance.

What Makes Aileach Different

Unlike cheaper single-tone grass, Aileach uses a mix of straight and curly fibres. This combination stops the pile from matting down under foot traffic, so the lawn keeps its bounce even in high-use areas. In addition, the fibres are 100% UV resistant, which means the colour won’t fade or bleach out, even after a full Irish summer of direct sun.

Built to Last

At 2.85kg per m², Aileach is a heavy-duty grass rather than a lightweight decorative option. Therefore, it suits:

• Family lawns and gardens
• Children’s play areas and schools
• Pet-friendly outdoor spaces
• Decking and patio surrounds
• Rooftops and balconies
• Sports, retail, and event displays

Because the backing and fibre weight are built for durability, Aileach handles daily footfall, pets, and play without flattening or thinning out.

Low Maintenance, Every Season

Once Aileach is down, there’s no mowing, no muddy patches, and no watering. Instead, you get a green, tidy lawn 365 days a year, regardless of what the Donegal weather is doing. For that reason, it’s a practical choice for anyone who wants the look of a lawn without the weekly upkeep.
