This flat-packed wooden single swing set brings outdoor fun to your Irish garden. One child can enjoy hours of active play in your own outdoor space, creating lasting childhood memories.

Perfect for families in Donegal and throughout Ireland, this robust garden swing combines practical design with lasting durability.

Built for Irish Weather Conditions

Pressure-treated timber withstands Irish rainfall and coastal winds. The protective treatment penetrates deep into the wood, preventing rot and decay whilst maintaining structural integrity. Your wooden swing set investment lasts for years, not just seasons.

Technical Specifications

Frame Construction:

• Top beam: 90mm x 90mm pressure-treated timber
• Leg posts: 90mm x 90mm pressure-treated timber
• Swing spacing: Single swing design

Why Irish Families Choose This Single Swing Set

Robust Construction

The 90mm timber throughout provides exceptional strength. Most swing sets use thinner wood, compromising stability. This extra-strong frame handles energetic play without wobbling or flexing.

Safe Play Environment

Wide leg spacing creates a stable base for confident play. The substantial top beam supports the swing without flexing. Your child plays safely whilst you supervise with complete peace of mind.

Self-Assembly Design

Clear instructions guide you through assembly of your wooden swing set. Most families complete installation in 2-3 hours using basic DIY skills and standard tools.

Tools Required:

• Electric drill with wood bits
• 13mm spanner or socket set
• Spirit level
• Tape measure
• Step ladder
• Assistant for lifting (recommended)

Perfect for Irish Gardens

Space-Efficient Layout

The compact footprint fits smaller Irish gardens perfectly. Position your single swing set near your patio for easy supervision. The design works well in corner locations or along fence lines, maximising your outdoor space.

Year-Round Play

Pressure-treated timber performs reliably through Irish winters. Your child enjoys outdoor time regardless of season. The robust frame handles autumn winds and spring showers without deterioration.

Expandable System

Start with the basic wooden swing set and add accessories as your budget allows. The strong frame supports climbing ropes, trapeze bars, or glider attachments using our climbing frame accessories.

Installation Guide for Your Garden Swing

Ground Preparation

Level ground creates the safest installation. Remove stones and sharp objects from the swing area. Consider artificial grass or play bark beneath swings for soft landings and cushioned play.

Safety Clearances

Allow 2m clearance in all directions around your wooden swing set. This prevents collisions with walls, fences, or garden features. Check overhead clearance for tree branches or washing lines before installation.
